EGZIT is a multi-faceted clothing project that aims at supporting several frontiers of youth sub-culture whilst also maintaining a very particular and consistent form of fashion expression not found anywhere else. Drawing inspiration from the underground realms of skateboarding, contemporary art, and more, we aim to represent those often forsaken faucets of youth and create clothing which feeds off the nihilism and recklessness of this sect in order to formulate its own unique attitude. Through an intensive study of what it is that builds the foundations of a 'sub-culture', and of youth nature both in the past and today, we hope to depart from conventions of street wear as an image-based construct but rather, as an art form.
